Thanks to all those who attended the AGM last night. For the benefit of those who for one reason or another couldn't attend, and to summarise the key decisions made and discussions on the night, the following happened:

Massive thanks are due to Clive, Alex, Brett, Paul and Gary for the incredible amount of work they have done, and love for the club they have given over recent years (and in Clive's and Gary's cases, over 30 years!). They will be greatly missed (though thankfully Gary is remaining as Secretary).
Thanks also to the new additions to the committee, who have stepped up to help in the (hopefully successful) running of the club.
It was agreed that subs for the 2018/19 season would increase by £5 to £190, which will mean two payments of £95 (end of September and end of January), or one payment (discounted by 10%) of £171.
Other items of note
A recurring theme in the meeting was our presence at the club after games each Saturday. It is something that those attending the meeting feel needs to improve and be encouraged. It is part of playing for this great club and can only improve togetherness, team and club spirit so I would ask all of you to make the effort to get back to the club if at all possible. It also helps considerably with our standing within the club
Please look out for opportunities for Sponsorship, whether it be via your employers or any other avenue.
New players are always welcome, so please encourage people to come and give us a try.
Training for next season will start on Wednesday 4th July (further details will follow).
Finally, this Saturday (12th May) sees the first team playing their final game of the season, a must win game, against Oxenhope Recreation. Kick off is 2.30 and it would be a good sign of the solidarity within the club if we could get the majority of our players up there to support them, prior to the end of season do, presentation of awards etc. You might have made other plans, but if not, please make the effort to get there and give them your support.
