6. Playing History - Old Mods, Bramhope Cullens. Wigton Moor Juniors.
7. Best Player/s you have played with - Mick Birch, as a midfielder had everything (apart from hair). Best defender has to be Andy Hoole, could read things before they happened. Best attacker Gerry Reynolds, the best goal scorer ever to play at the mods. I would look for him whenever I got the ball from deep in midfield, obviously find him, he would do the rest.
8. Best Player you have played against - Vinnie Archer for Ford Green, went on to play in the football league for someone. I loved playing against “better players” always found it more of a challenge and it brought the best out of me. Also Eddie Gray only in a friendly as a boy.
9. Football Idol - Gary Lineker - fantastic professional.
10. Favourite supporting football memory - I had Gazza, John Barnes, Colin Cooper and Sherringham in the car, some girls started waving and blowing kisses, I said “sorry lads I get this everywhere I go”. Comic genius… Not!!
1989-1990 Leeds getting promotion from the old second division (with Vinnie Jones and Gordon Strachan) then 1991-1992 winning league one two years later.
11. Worst supporting football Memory - 1990 World cup semi against Germany less said but best English team in my lifetime.
12. Greatest playing memory/achievment - Winning the senior A League in 2001 was special. However being captain of the 1st team and doing the double, one of which was the Yorkshire Shield. I scored the winning goal then lifted the Shield, it was a special moment. Nowadays just the memory of playing without old crap legs and injuries is a good memory
13. Worst Mods or previous club memory - Mods 1st being relegated from senor A. As a junior, being beaten in the semi final of the champions champions cup at school, the final was at Wembley.
14. Mods Hero - Mick Appleby , he has done loads for the mods over the years and is one of the nicest blokes you will ever meet. I’d also like to say it is a pleasure to play with this current set of lads playing in first and second teams, they are good lads on and off the field. I will miss playing with them (football that is) and I am sure they will only improve and succeed in the future.
15. Best ground you've played at - Yorkshire bank, great set up, now has houses on it I think. Played at Elland Road but the pitch was crap.

17. Pre-match preparation routine - Light lunch or late breakfast about 11, (porridge with honey). Drink two pints of water. Start warming up about 11:30. Throw darts at a picture of John (scrounge a lift, can’t use a mobile phone) Ramsden to get me in the mood.
18. What do you do on a Saturday when not playing football - Cycling, (there’s no hiding and it sorts the men from the boys). Also spend time with the family
19. Best Friend/s at the club - My peg in the changing room, I will miss him.
20. If you could change things about the club what would they be -:
The decoration, its crap and the best room smells.
A women’s hockey team would be a good idea.
Make it compulsory to have a shower.
Get better looking bar maids (no offence).
Get a chief bar steward who cares about the club, makes people feel welcome and be an overall good guy.
Think the football side of things is being sorted by Chairman Mao and is going in the right direction.
